It is with great pleasure that I extend my warmest greetings to everyone attending the 30th anniversary gala, “A Celebration of Immigrant Women’s Journeys,” Wing hosted by the Working Skills Centre (WSC).
For three decades, WSC has played a leading role in the lives of more than 50,000 immigrants, particularly women, by assisting them with integration and settlement issues As you enjoy this evening’s festivities. you may lake pride in knowing that the proceeds will benefit the many valuable programs and services offered by WSC, including its new scholarship program.
I would like to commend everyone associated with WSC for your commitment to empowering individuals by providing them with the opportunity to develop the skills they need to confidently chart their own course in their chosen country. I am certain that you will continue this valuable work for many years to come.
