There will always be a need for people who can understand how to manage accounts and payroll, track income and expenditures and analyze budgets and forecasts. The Computerized Accounting Diploma will provide you with knowledge of the business concepts and office skills in the key areas of accounting.

In this 20 week program, students will learn how to use the latest accounting software packages including Simply Accounting, ACCPAC, and QuickBooks along with other essential skills and techniques needed in this profession.

Graduates are successfully employed in positions with Canadian companies as: Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk, Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, Payroll Clerk, Bookkeeper.

Note: Computer literacy and  numeracy skills assessment test will be required prior to admission to some skills training programs. An interview may follow to assess language competency and eligibility for some programs.

The Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper program designed especially for clients of Toronto Employment and Social Services (TESS), under an initiative called Skills Training Directly Linked to Employment (STDLE), covers all modules in the Diploma Program plus a 6-week unpaid work placement component.
