WSC Achilles Walk/Run
St-Patrick-5k

Working Skills Centre (WSC) is an innovative, community-based, non-profit, charitable organization that empowers immigrants, primarily women. Our purpose is to prepare our clients to fully participate in Canadian society by providing education, work experience, and settlement services that ultimately lead to employment.

Achilles Canada Mission:
to empower you, through running or walking to take control of your health, to increase your self-confidence, to become more involved in the mainstream world, and to reach your full potential.

Please tell all your running buddies, friends, co-workers about the 18th annual event which will be the 10th consecutive year that WSC has entered a team. In 2007 we raised $3,120; and gradually increased to just over $10,000 in 2016! Our goal this year is to raise more, at least $12,000 – PLEASE help us achieve our goal? Any money raised in support of Team WSC! goes directly to WSC’s program and services. There are no fees or % given for administration.

Charitable receipts will be issued by WSC for all amounts over $20.00 within 3 weeks of the race date.

HOW TO DONATE:

You can donate by sending a cheque payable to Working Skills Centre, giving cash to the team member you are sponsoring, giving a cheque or cash to a WSC staff or Board representative, or going to canadahelps.org and donating on line. If you use the on-line option your charitable receipt will be sent to you within a week by email.
