TEAM WSC! to participate in 2018 Achilles St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk
WSC Achilles Walk/Run – March 18, 2018 10:30am
Working Skills Centre (WSC) is an innovative, community-based, non-profit, charitable organization that provides hands-on programs that empower the participants. Our purpose is to prepare WSC’s clients to fully participate in Canadian society by providing skills training, work experience, and settlement services that ultimately lead to employment.
Achilles Canada Mission:
to empower you, through running or walking to take control of your health, to increase your self-confidence, to become more involved in the mainstream world, and to reach your full potential.
Please tell all your running buddies, friends, co-workers about the 19th annual event which will be the 11th consecutive year that WSC has entered a team. In 2007 we raised $3,120; and gradually increased to just over $12,000 in 2017! Our goal this year is to raise more, at least $12,000 – PLEASE help us achieve our goal? Any money raised in support of Team WSC! goes directly to WSC’s program and services. There are no fees or % given for administration.
Charitable receipts will be issued by WSC for all amounts over $20.00 within 3 weeks of the race date.
