Donations:

The Walk/Run was a great success. It was a terribly cold day but the WSC Team (Team Troopers!) were there. If you have made a pledge or still wish to make a donation you can donate by sending a cheque payable to Working Skills Centre, donating cash to the team member you sponsored, donating a cheque or cash to a WSC staff or board representative or visiting canadahelps.org online and donating on line. If you use the on-line option your charitable receipt will be sent to you within a week by email.

WSC Mission Statement:

Working Skills Centre (WSC) is an innovative, community-based, non-profit, charitable organization that empowers immigrants, primarily women. Our purpose is to prepare our clients to fully participate in Canadian society by providing education, work experience, and settlement services that ultimately lead to employment.

Achilles Canada Mission:

To empower you, through running or walking to take control of your health, to increase your self-confidence, to become more involved in the mainstream world, and to reach your full potential.

Please tell all your running buddies, friends, co-workers about the 15th annual event which will be the 7th consecutive year that WSC has entered a team.
